William and Mary (1689-1694), silver Twopence, 1693, 3 over 2 in date with retrograde Arabic 1, conjoined busts right, GVL below busts, GVLIELMVS. ET. MARIA. D.G, rev, crowned mark of value, legend surrounds MAG. BR. FR. ET. HIB. REX. ET. REGINA, large letter G puncheons used in reverse legend, weight 0.93g (Bull.949; ESC.2200a; Robinson p.152:108 [i]; S.3443). Toned, some obverse pitting and reverse flecking, otherwise very fine.
The Latin legends translate to on obverse "William and Mary by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King and Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland.
