Victoria (1837-1901), silver Florin, 1887, crowned and veiled Jubilee type bust left, angled type J in J.E.B. on truncation for engraver Joseph Edgar Boehm, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding both sides, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned cruciform shields, sceptres in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITT: REG: FID: DEF: (Davies 811 dies 2/A; Bull 2953; ESC 868; S.3925). Toned on reverse and with colour around obverse periphery, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62.
