Victoria (1837-1901),silver Shilling, 1883, no die number, fourth young filleted head left, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITANNIAR: REG: F: D:,rev.crowned mark of value within laurel and oak wreath, date below (Bull 3072; ESC 1342; S.3907). Well struck up, toned with a light gold undertone, graded by NGC as MS62.

Mintage 7,281,450.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
