Victoria (1837-1901),silver Halfcrown, 1883, young head left, type A5, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA,rev.crowned quartered shield of arms, within laurel wreath, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: edge milled, weight 14.14g (Bull 2762; ESC 711; S.3889). Well struck up, some hairlines and raised die flaws with a superb reverse, graded by NGC as MS62.

Mintage 2,982,779.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse "Queen of the Briton's, Defender of the Faith."
