Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half Sovereign, 1871 die number 13 on reverse, second larger young head left, type A2, date below, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, normal toothed border around rim both sides, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms in frame, die number below, BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF: (Hill 446; S.3860). Lightly toned, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU55.

NGC Certification 3805009-029.

Calendar year Mintage 2,217,760.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse as "Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
