Victoria (1837-1901), cupro-nickel Proof Halfpenny, 1868, laureate "bun style" bust left, legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, denomination in words surrounding, date in exergue (Fr.304, dies 7+G; cf.S.3956). Dusky tone with some streaking on obverse, has been slabbed and graded by CGS UK as UNC88.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
