Ireland, Henry VIII (1509-47), silver Groat, first harp issue with Katherine Howard (1540), long cross fourchée over crowned quartered shield of arms, linear and beaded circles and legend surrounding, initial mark crown both sides, rev. crowned harp, crowned h to left, crowned K to right, beaded circles and legend surrounding, weight 2.45g (DF 203; S.6474). Toned, good very fine and rare.
