Edward I (1272-1307), silver long cross Penny, second issue (1281/2) Waterford Mint, facing crowned bust in inverted triangle, three pellets below collar, legend surrounded with pellet before King's name, rev. long cross pattée, trio of pellets in each angle, City of Waterford title (D&F 64; S.6254). Toned good very fine.

This coin was previously slabbed and graded by NGC as MS62 - serial number 1879380-007.

This would appear to be the finest example ever graded so far.
