George V (1910-36), bronze Penny, 1927, modified bare head left, with raised BM for Bertram Mackennal on right of truncation, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: BRITT: OMN: REX FID: DEF: IND: IMP: rev. Britannia seated right with trident and shield, with shorter digits on hand than earlier reverse, denomination in words surrounding, date in exergue (Freeman 197 dies 4+C; S.4054A). A few tiny spots and toned on otherwise almost full lustre, otherwise uncirculated.
The abbreviated Latin legend on the obverse translates as "George V by the Grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
