George IV (1820-30),gold Sovereign, 1827, second bare head left, date below neck, legend and toothed border surrounding, .GEORGIUS IV DEI GRATIA.,rev.crowned quartered shield of arms, BRITANNIARUM REX FID: DEF: (Bentley 20; Hill 12; S.3801). Toned with scuffing and other surface marks both sides, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU53.

NGC certification 6671151-001.

Calendar year mintage - 2,266,629.

The Latin legends translate to on obverse "George the Fourth by the Grace of God" continuing on the reverse as "King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
