George IV (1820-30), gold Sovereign, 1824, laureate head left, B.P. for Benedetto Pistrucci below neck, legend and toothed border surrounding, GEORGIUS IIII D: G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:, rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, B.P. to upper right of exergue, WWP on ground line below lance for William Wellesley Pole, (Bentley 15; Hill 8; EGC.964; S.3800). Some contact marks and nicks, otherwise pleasing tone with much of the mint bloom visible, graded by PCGS as MS61.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "George IV by the Grace of God, King of the Britains, Defender of the Faith."
