George II (1727-60), gold Guinea, 1739 E.I.C. initials of the East India Company below intermediate laureate head left, GEORGIUS.II. DEI.GRATIA, rev. second crowned quartered shield of arms, date either side of crown, M.B.FE. ET. H. REX. F.D. B.ET. L. D. S. R. I. A. T ET. E. (MCE 316; S.3677). One light adjustment mark or scratch on lower jaw otherwise toned extremely fine and very rare as a one year only type for this bust combination.
