Corinth (c. 345-307 B.C.), Silver Stater. Pegasos flying left, koppa below, rev. A-P, head of Athena facing left, wearing a Corinthian helmet decorated with a laurel-wreath on the bowl, a plow behind, 8.53g., 12h (Calciati, Pegasi, 439; Ravel 1021). Beautiful blue iridescent cabinet tone, well-centred, some light traces of double-striking on reverse otherwise extremely fine.
