Constantius I (A.D. 305-306), Silver Argenteus. Mint of Serdica, struck A.D. 305-6. CONSTAN-TIVS AVG, laureate head facing right, rev. VIRTVS MILITVM, camp-gate with three turrets, SMSDΔ in exergue, 3.35g., 12h (G. Gautier, 'Le monnayage d'argent de Serdica après la réforme de Dioclétien' RN XXXIII, 1991, 25; RIC 11a var.). A rare issue of Constantius as Augustus, well-struck and with iridescent toning, superb extremely fine.
