Cn. Cornelius Lentulus (76-75 B.C.), Silver Denarius. Mint of Spain (?). Draped bust of the Genius Populi Romani facing right, a band ties in hair and a sceptre over far shoulder, G·P·R above, rev. a sceptre with wreath, a globe and a rudder, EX - S C on left and right, CN LEN Q below, 3.88g., 6h (Crawford 393/1a; Sydenham 732; RBW 1432). An exceptional example of this issue, good metal, light iridescent toning, lustrous, good extremely fine.
