Anne 1714 Farthing

Anne (1702-14), copper Farthing, 1714, draped bust left, Latin legend around within linear and thick toothed border surrounding, ANNA DEI GRATIA, rev. inverted die axis, Britannia seated left on globe with shield, holding spear and branch, date in exergue below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITAN NIA. weight 4.48g (Peck 742 dies 2+E; S.3625). Toned practically extremely fine and rare.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Anne, by the grace of God" and on the reverse "of the Britons"
